Biografie von K.Lectra
In the beginning there was an ironing board...
Kerstin Eden was not aware which huge enormity it would have, as she nicked 2003 the ironing board of her mother and placed her 1210's and a mixer on it. Today, some years later, she has not only inspired some guys with home booth architecture, but also provided for many party freaks a good muscle aching in the legs. Inspired by Berlin she refoundet herself in 2008 and took leave of k.lectra which was her DJ pseudonym in the past years.
Music is definitely her philosophy of life – the beats, her talk and the club are her way of expression. You can actually see and hear her passion for the music, when you experience how she infects the party crowd with one of her long mixing sessions - which has always a surprise to hold. Not to forget the permanent smile on her lips. The ingredients of her cheeky, experimental sound are crispy tech-house, spicy electro and deeper techno, peppered with tribal sounds and fat baselines. In the past years her reputation as insatiable sound machine has grown continuesly and an outstanding club history and large fan base have been established.
From Berlin over Frankfurt to Munich; the bundle of energy behind the decks is known for special marathon sets. But also the overseas are knocking on Miss Eden..s door. The Volar, Hong Kongs first adress for electronic music and further hot clubs in the south of France (La Nitro/Montpellier, Studio88/Aix en Provence), Spain (Chic, Gran Canaria), Russia (Berlin Club, Khabarovks) and the Netherlands (Inferno/Nijmegen) have experienced are hair-shaking show.
Next to many German clubs (as Home14/Düsseldorf, 311/Frankfurt, Arena Club/Berlin, Pulp Mansion/Berlin, Residenz/Paderborn, zuHouse/Dortmund, Polar TV/ Berlin, Wild Obsession/Frankfurt and many more) also big events as the Loveparade Essen & Dortmund, the Ruhr in Love, the Brand Award Show, the Light & Sound Luzern exhibition in Switzerland or the Musikmesse Frankfurt exhibition are marked on her reference list.
